i gotta say, one of the best dances i've seen is wade's choreography to "dancing in a burning room." yeah, it was featured on SYTYCD last season, but Ben and Pam's version is so much more human. it's raw, it's in the moment. it's not dance, it's an experience. i feel like we've captured their humanity, expressed in movement, as a voyeur to the emotional breakdown that people often go through.
and though i'm mostly a hip-hop dancer, i've found a love for lyrical and contemporary. it's there where art can really shine. i've never pegged myself as an artist, but i do have many qualities. i guess it's a core part of who i am.
